Adjudicator Qualifications
adjudication.co.uk is a recognized Adjudicator Nominating Body under the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act and will nominate an adjudicator when requested. There is a fee of £250 for this service. Nominations are made by the Committee.
All adjudicators nominated by adjudication.co.uk must meet the following requirements:
- A recognized professional qualification in their area of specialization
- 10 years post qualification experience
- A recognized legal qualification
- Recognized training in the law and practice of adjudication
- Membership of the governing body of their profession
- Professional indemnity insurance
Professional Membership: Fellowship or membership of the ICE, RIBA, RICS, CIArb, CIOB or appropriate professional body.
Legal Qualification: Solicitor, Barrister, FCIArb, legally related MSc, BSc, BA or Diploma in a legally related subject.
Adjudication Training: Satisfactory completion of a training course run by adjudication.co.uk or the RICS, CIOB, ICE, RIBA, CIArb or TeCSA.
