Committee Member: Richard H. Morris DipArb FCIArb MAPM ACIOB
Richard Morris is a Construction Disputes Consultant and Expert Witness on Programme Matters with almost 30 years' experience in the construction industry working for sub-contractors, contractors, employers and consultants in the UK, Eastern Europe and Hong Kong.
He is presently Divisional Director in charge of UK Dispute Services at global top-ten Quantity Surveying and Dispute Resolution Consultancy Systech Group Limited where he specialises in the resolution of construction disputes by mediation, adjudication, arbitration and litigation.
He acts as Expert Witness on time-related disputes on civil engineering and construction projects world-wide and has advised in a number of adjudications and arbitrations.
UK disputes have involved services installations, residential projects, offshore and onshore oil and gas installations and storage facilities, new-build projects, refurbishment projects, curtain walling, roofing sub-contracts and hospital building. International disputes have involved major roadbuilding schemes and tunnelling projects.
Richard is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and is a former Chairman of its East Anglia Branch. He is also a committee member of the East of England Branch of the Association for Project Management.
